A self-taught biologist, his professional work has always been linked to water (chemistry and microbiology) both nationally and internationally in the private, public, and academic sectors. He has traveled throughout Asia (Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, China, and Japan), gathering experiences related to communities, plants, and fungi. He also has experience in cultivating various organisms and microorganisms, both in the laboratory and outdoors. He is an independent researcher specializing in plant/human relationships. He is the co-author of the book "Psychoactive Fungi of Chile." He received instruction in kensan (conversation) from the Yamagishi communities of Japan (Tokkoh 2015).
